Commercial Manager/ Quantity Surveyor

Due to continued expansion; Maylarch Environmental Ltd currently has a vacancy for a full time experienced Commercial Manager/ Quantity Surveyor to work in the busy Demolition Department.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, forward thinking, friendly company committed to staff development and the post offers good potential for career development. This role will involve general contract duties including liaising with clients, quoting and managing the commercial aspects of projects.

The ideal candidate will need the following skills and qualities: -

  • Previous Contracting experience
  • Experience within the demolition and/or construction industry
  • Experience managing project expenditure and client's expectations
  • Excellent administration and IT skills including MS word, Excel & Outlook, as well as familiarity with MS Project or other programme / scheduling software
  • Organised and methodical
  • Good communication skills
  • Accurate and pays attention to detail.
  • Presentable

The successful candidate will need to hold a full driving licence. The position will be based in our offices at Worton Park in Cassington, OX29 4SU.

Demolition and Asbestos Removal department opportunities

Maylarch Environmental Ltd currently has vacancies for experienced Demolition Labourers, Operatives and Supervisors as well as Asbestos Removal Operatives and Supervisors  

Our work can be tough and physically demanding, but it’s also rewarding and highly skilled.

Are you up for the challenge? The ideal candidate will need the following skills and qualities:-

  • Ability to undertake a physically demanding role
  • Ability to wear a full or half face mask whilst working
  • Ability to understand and follow instruction
  • Ability to develop their understanding of their own safety and that of others
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a methodical and calm manner
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Accurate and pays attention to detail
  • Presentable
  • Comfortable with confined spaces

Previous experience in the industry, full training and a CSCS/CCDO/ARMI card is required
