Making Tracks 2014 - Update
We fly out tomorrow!
Visas, vaccines, malaria tablets...check, check, check!
Training....umm.... we will have to see.
We’re really looking forward to the challenge and excited to see Africa and its people up close. The team at KOP have helped us with our preparations all the way through and we look forward to meeting them and also our fellow riders, I wonder if they feel they’ve done enough training?
The detailed itinerary has one surprise in it, Day Two is 151 km! The ride profile looks like a saw so I’m sure most of us will be feeling pretty sore after that ride. The whole route though, looks fantastic and will have some views like this.
Ending in Kisumu with a view like this!
