ARCA Gold training award and new Apprenticeship Programme
Maylarch is very pleased to announce that the company has once again received the ARCA Gold Training Award.
This award highlights Asbestos Removal contractors who have, over the last 12 months, trained at least 8 individuals (operatives and/or supervisors) achieving a collective score of 92.5% or above.
For Maylarch, this is a true recognition of the company’s commitment towards training and the achievement of individuals receiving the training.
New Asbestos Removal apprenticeship scheme
This year, we have taken on our first Asbestos Removal Operative Apprentice who over the next 2 years will follow the ACAD-TICA Specialist Apprenticeship Programme.
The Specialist Apprenticeship Programme is designed for operatives of all ages with less than one years’ experience of licensed Asbestos work.
Over a 12 month period, our new starter will receive the knowledge and practical training required for today’s asbestos industry as well as additional training covering supportive disciplines.
The programme culminates in the achievement of the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Removal of Hazardous Waste (Construction) – Licensed Asbestos competence qualification.
