Asbestos Hazards: The project required meticulous planning and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure safe removal of ACMs, including handpicking and removal of damp-proof courses and textured coatings.

Access to Fragile Areas: Boom lifts (cherry pickers) were essential for safely removing roof tiles and accessing hard-to-reach areas.

Phased Execution: The project was divided into two phases to handle ACMs in critical and common areas without cross-contamination.

Location: Bordered by the busy Oxford ring road and closely surrounded by housing and businesses.

Mechanical Demolition: The building was demolished using heavy equipment, ensuring safe disposal of debris.

Asbestos Removal: ACMs were carefully removed from ceilings, floors, windows, fire doors, loft hatches, and AIB-lined areas, following strict safety protocols.
