Maylarch’s commitment to maintaining the highest health and safety standards has been recognised with a prestigious industry award.

The company won the health and safety category for the Northern Home Counties region at leading construction firm Morgan Sindall’s Supply Chain Awards 2025.

The award acknowledges Maylarch’s commitment to delivering an exceptional service while maintaining stringent health and safety standards across all operations. The nomination was driven by the outstanding work Maylarch carried out on the Little Reddings Primary School project in Bushey, Hertfordshire.

Kevin Bowerman, Operations Director, said“We are proud of our exceptional health and safety record which is the result of an unwavering commitment to training and to upholding high operational standards.”

“Health and Safety is at the heart of what we do, via training both on and off site, experience, and working with clients to create a safe environment across all sites.”

“We always ensure we prepare, understand a site and put in place high level, compliant health and safety protocols before commencing any work.”

“This award is testament to our dedication to always ensuring the wellbeing of our team and clients. We are incredibly proud of our team, whose hard work, vigilance, and professionalism have made this achievement possible.”

“A huge thank you to Morgan Sindall for this recognition and to our entire team for their ongoing efforts in upholding a culture of safety and excellence.”

It comes after Maylarch recently announced it has renewed its membership of Oxfordshire Construction Training Group (OCTG) for 2025.

The company has benefited from the group’s health and safety training, as well as its extensive support across strategic and technical development, since 2009.

It links Maylarch with accredited providers and discounted courses, while subsidies from industry training board CITB helps maximise cost savings.

Rob Fluckiger, group managing director, said: “Maylarch is uncompromising in its approach to the safety of our workers, the public and the environment with the combination of our accreditations, excellent record and ongoing commitment to critical training.”

“This award recognises the high standard of the services we offer and the quality of our employees. Safety is one of our core values and we uphold the safety of our employees, the community and the environment at all times via rigorous protocols, regular training and proactive risk management.”

“I am proud of the fantastic work from our management team and staff as we keep improving in every way to make our business the best it can be.”
